The course covers both traditional and modern Physics concepts via six modules. Opportunities exist for practical laboratory work, and presentations. Module 1 - Development of practical skills in physics Module 2 - Foundations of physics Module 3 - Forces and motion Module 4 - Electrons, waves and photons Module 5 - Newtonian world astrophysics Module 6 Particles and medical physics
What you need to get on
At least 8 9-5 grades at GCSE, including English Language and Mathematics. Grade 6/6 in GCSE Double Science or a minimum of grade 6/6 in two of three Triple Science GCSEs including Physics. Additionally a minimum of a Grade 7 is also required in GCSE Mathematics.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
