You will be covering a wide range of topics including; particles and radiation, waves, mechanics, electricity, thermal physics, fields, nuclear physics, astrophysics, and electronics. You will also be studying and completing up to 12 different experiments that have changed the course of physics and human understanding. There are many careers available to students with an A-level in Physics, for example; architecture, aeronautical engineering, product design, audio engineering, mechanical engineersing.

What you need to get on

At least 5 4-9 GCSE grades (or A*-C legacy GCSE grades) with a minimum of 6,6 or above in GCSE Combined Science, and 6 or above in GCSE Mathematics

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
