What the college says

Physics is the study of "matter, energy, and the interaction between them", but what that really means is that A Level Physics is about asking fundamental questions and trying to answer them by observing and experimenting. We study interactions from the unthinkably large in the Universe to the infinitesimally small in particle physics.

What you need to get on

7 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including: Grade 6 in Physics, grade 6 in Chemistry and grade 5 in Biology, OR 66 in Combined Science and grade 6 in Maths.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
