If you are curious about how things work, what things are made of, and want to apply mathematics to solving real-life problems - choose physics at A Level. You will build upon your GCSE knowledge of things like forces, motion and waves, and discover new areas of intrigue such as particles, quantum phenomenon and special relativity. Physics is key for careers in physics, engineering and computer science and is extremely transferable to areas as diverse as investment banking and medicine.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
