What the college says

The PE course is ideal for students who display an interest in the history of Physical Education, the anatomy of sports performers and the role of the elite performer. Study combines written analytical assessment, alongside areas such as independent research into sports provision locally and at elite levels, and evaluating development plans for improved performance. Students should be able to write longer prose answers to analytical questions. Students can progress from A Level to any university-based course that relates to the world of sport. Students can go into the world of work in many guises: Personal Trainers, Sport Management, Recreational Assistants and Teachers. Opportunities: A commitment to your own physical education and playing in regular competitions is essential as there are no structured practical lessons during the school day.
