What the college says

Studying AS or A Level Physical Education will give you a fantastic insight into the amazing world of sports performance. Not only will you have the chance to perform or coach a sport through the non-exam assessment component, you will also develop a wide-ranging knowledge into the how and why of physical activity and sport.

What you need to get on

A minimum of 5 subjects at GCSE Grade 5/BTEC Level 2 Pass or higher including GCSE PE (Grade 6/B or higher). Students must also have GCSE Maths and English Language (Grade 5 or higher). Students must also play a sport to high club level or above.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
