Examination Board: OCR Level 3 Cambridge Technical Extended Certificate in Sport and Physical Activity This award is the equivalent of one A level and is designed to be a two year course. This qualification is for learners 16 years old or over who want to study sport, leisure or fitness. An essential requirement is an enthusiasm for sport. This qualification is not just about being able to play sport, it will provide learners with the skills, knowledge and understanding to progress into Higher Education on a sport-related programme.
What you need to get on
Five GCSE's Grade 4-9, this must include Maths and English Language or Literature. In addition, GCSE grade 4 is required in the subject areas chosen to study at A Level.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
