What the college says

The photography course is for anyone with a keen interest in photography and creativity. Students that take this course will have an opportunity to develop personal visual responses and learn the practical and theoretical skills involved within the subject.

What you need to get on

It is useful but not essential if you have studied an Arts course at GSCE. What is essential is that you should have a creative aptitude and are enthusiastic about photography. If you have completed an Arts based GCSE (such as Art, Engineering, DT, Textiles etc) you will need to have achieved a grade 6.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
