Photography explores the disciplines of film-based photography, digital photography, film and video. Students will have opportunities to generate practical work, ideas and research from primary, secondary and contextual studies. They will experiment with media and processes, and develop and refine their ideas, presenting their outcomes.

What you need to get on

GCSE English grade 5 or above GCSE in Photography or Art grade 5 or above. Equivalent creative subject such as Design Technology – Graphics, Product Design, Textiles (students would be asked to provide a portfolio of personal photographs)

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
