This course examines a range of Philosophical and Ethical Issues. It is designed to develop an interest for the rigorous and critical study of both of these relevant academic topics, (e.g. 'Why do people suffer? sexual ethics, war and peace.)

What you need to get on

You will need to have a minimum of 5 A* - C grades at GCSE to study this course. You will need to have passed English Language at grade B or above. You are suitable for this course if you can think clearly, express your opinions verbally and on paper, enjoy the challenge of discussion and are prepared to work hard and read. GCSE Religious Studies is not always necessary, but this is a demanding, stimulating academic course requiring commitment and concentration.
