This is an intensive practical course and over the two years you will study and develop a wide range ofperformance skills in the different Performing Arts disciplines. WHERE DOES IT LEAD? The course provides useful preparation for the Performing Arts Industry as performers, production roles or arts administration. It is also a useful grounding for a range of other careers including education, media, sales, public relations, advertising and marketing. COURSE DETAILS: Through practical workshops you will learn techniques in acting, movement and voice. These skills will then be developed to a more advanced level through the exploration of a range of texts, performance styles, theatrical practitioners and themes. Over the two years, you will take part in a wide range of public performances to different audiences in order to demonstrate your skills. You will also undertake research, analysis and evaluation of your own work as well as those of past and present theatrical performers.Written coursework accompanies the practical work in each unit you study.

5 GCSEs @ Grades 4-9, including 4+ in GCSE English & 4+ in GCSE Dance, Drama or Music plus a successful audition

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
