This is the foundation course for those wishing to build confidence in dealing with PC components and networks, or start their career in IT Support. It is a practical course that gives an opportunity to build, diagnose and rectify basic hardware/software faults in a supported and safe environment. It provides a framework to assist in analysing a users needs in order to specify an appropriate system whilst raising awareness of manufacturing and purchasing compatibility issues.

You need an interest in IT servicing & repairs or the desire to continue onto recognised vendor qualifications.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
