Part-Time Functional Skills Maths for Adults

What the college says
This course is for you if you want to improve your maths knowledge and feel more confident about using maths in everyday work and life situations. You will be enrolled onto a level appropriate for you (Entry 3, Level 1 or Level 2) based on your pre-course assessment. Ultimately, all students will work towards achieving a Level 2 Functional Skills qualification, which is seen as the equivalent of a Grade 4 pass at GCSE and is valued by HE institutions and employers.
What you need to get on
All prospective students need to take an assessment before commencing this course. The assessment is in two parts: An online BKSB assessment and then an in-person non-calculator assessment. Based on these two assessments, students will be assigned the most suitable level (Entry 3, Level 1or Level 2) for them.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
