What the college says
The Level 1 Painting Study Programme teaches you about paint application techniques, both by brush and roller to get a perfect finish, as well as understanding working platforms and working at height. With work experience gained on the course, you can learn how to paint and decorate in a professional environment as part of our involvement with local community projects restoring derelict homes. Youll also get the chance to improve your maths and English and build up your employability skills. Following on from the Study Programme, you can progress to improve your painting skills onto the Level 2 Programme or start work on site as an entry level painter.

4 x GCSEs at grade 3(D) or above
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A first step that builds towards Level 2.
