Working in the trade, you could find yourself decorating brand new buildings, restoring and refurbishing existing properties, working for a contractor or starting your own business!The course allows you to learn, develop and practice the skills required as a painter and decorator.
What you need to get on
You will need 5 GCSEs at Grade 3 or above, one of them must be English and/or Math.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
