OCR Level 3 Advanced GCE in Biology A Biology is a vast and varied subject which includes the study of living things from miniscule micro-organisms right the way up to human beings and beyond. The course aims to develop your interest and enthusiasm for Biology and hopefully inspire you to further study or careers in Biology, In addition we want to develop your understanding of how different areas of Biology relate to each other and help you to apply this understanding to unfamiliar situations. It encourages students to appreciate how society makes decisions about scientific issues and how Biology contributes to the success of society and the economy. In the course you will develop and demonstrate a deeper appreciation of the skills, knowledge and understanding of How Science Works.
