This course provides students with the opportunity to develop a variety of skills across all areas of visual arts. It is a largely practical course, which gives students more opportunity to focus on improving their practical skills. The course will give students a wider knowledge of art movements and artists and the influence they have had within the art world and beyond. Students will have the opportunity to record ideas and observations, develop skills using a range of materials and processes and develop original artwork inspired by the work of other artists. The course will help students improve communication skills, independence and confidence.
