What the college says
The Level 3 technical qualification has been developed to give learners the knowledge, understanding and skills that they need to prepare them for employment in the sports’ industry. Students develop professional and social skills through interaction with performers, clients and team mates. This will allow them to offer informed practical advice and guidance to the people they’ll be working with. This specific pathway has been designed in collaboration with Sports Coach UK and a range of national governing bodies. This pathway will allow students to gain employment in roles such as activity leader, multi-sports coach or assistant club coach amongst many other roles. The course is equivalent to one A level at the end of the course.
What you need to get on
A minimum of five 4-9 at GCSE. Applicants need to have a keen interest in sports and the Sports Industry.

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
