What the college says
The course enables students to gain practical laboratory skills and theoretical scientific understanding in a workplace setting. Students develop their knowledge and skills by exploring one of three vocational pathways: environmental, human or food science. It is equivalent to one A Level.
What you need to get on
You will need five 9-4 grades at GCSE or equivalent including English and Maths to take the Level 3 BTECs. Additionally, GCSE Grade 6 in any Science from either Combined or Triple Science.
