If you are looking at starting a career as a teaching assistant or a learning support assistant then our course will help you develop your skills, knowledge and understanding needed to work in school or college environments. You will learn about the development of learners, the importance of promoting positive behaviour, how to work collaboratively with teaching staff and gain effective communication and an understanding of safeguarding.

Prior to starting the course, you will be required to complete a brief initial assessment. This will help us understand your current starting point and allow us to tailor the course to meet your specific needs.

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
