This course is designed to provide you with a variety of skills for the world's largest industry. You will study areas of the tourism industry including: customer service, marketing, visitor attractions and special interest tourism. It combines class work with opportunities to carry out practical work, visit tourist attractions and prepare for work in this exciting and vibrant industry. Some trips and activities are mandatory to enable assessment of some units to be undertaken in a relevant environment.

What you need to get on

The entry qualifications for the Level 3 Travel and Tourism Extended Diploma are five GCSEs at grades 4 or above (Old GCSE grade C or above) including English and Maths. Or Merit or Distinction at First Diploma level in a related subject or Merit or Distinction at Intermediate GNVQ in a related subject (or equivalent) together with Functional Skills Level 2 English and Maths (or GCSE equivalent) .
