If your passion is for Art and Design, then this course is for you! You will learn and be assessed by completing practical assignments. This will allow you to develop your practical skills in many areas of art and design including fine art, painting, sculpture, ceramics, metalwork, print, plaster, photography, 3D design, graphic design and 4D time-based media. Your lecturers all have a working knowledge of the art and design industry and are all still active in the business outside of the college, resulting in accurate, up to date knowledge being shared throughout the course.

What you need to get on

Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above (Old GCSE grade C and above) or equivalent or a Level 2 qualification to a Merit standard and a portfolio of work will be required when you are invited in for a review. If you do not have a portfolio of work to bring to the interview, you may be set a task to complete within two weeks as a condition to enrolment. If you are concerned about the above entry requirements an alternative course available is the Art and Design Diploma Level 2.
