Do you want to get into Sports Coaching, Physical Education or Sports Development Related studies? Do you also want to study other A levels? If so, this course is for you. This course allows you to create a bespoke study programme which includes a variety of qualifications that can potentially better prepare them for their Higher Education journey. This course is more theory based and is best for those who excel in sciences and want to learn more about how sport and science combine to enhance athletic performance. This course is the equivalent to two A-levels and requires you to undertake a total of eight units across two years of study. Alongside the BTEC course, you will also study a variety of ‘extras’ to ensure that you graduate from this course with some essential knowledge and skills needed for working within the sector. The ‘extra’ courses that you will study are First Aid Qualification, The FA Safeguarding 'For All' course and The FA Sudden Cardiac Arrest course. During this course, you’ll learn: Sport and Exercise Physiology Functional Anatomy Applied Sport and Exercise Psychology Field and Laboratory-based Fitness Testing Coaching for Performance and Fitness Applied Research Methods in Sport and Exercise Science
