This course is based on an industrial model via our production company, Miskin Music. Miskin Music produces a diverse array of live and recorded music productions. Trainees participate in 'real world' professional processes with an emphasis on attracting audiences and consumers. ?Music producers will undertake projects which mirror the demands of this exciting and ever changing industry. ?Evolving areas such as viral marketing, and the productive use of social networking are central to our working ethos. Trainees will also develop and refine an online portfolio/personal website, increasingly seen as a vital resource for progression either into university or employment. A recognition and understanding of career paths and employment opportunities are embedded in our work, offering trainees an insight into sound design, composing for film/tv, live sound engineering, and music production. Projects/processes include; Production & Sequencing Techniques Music Composition & Production for Film/TV Audio Books Soundscaping and Sound Design Producing and marketing your recordings Live Performance Multi-Channel Mixing and Production Viral Marketing and Social Networking Live Sound Engineering Equivalent to 3 A Levels, a total of 72-168 UCAS points, depending on grades achieved).
