What the college says
A level Music includes units in Performing, Composing, Listening and investigating musical Styles. A minimum performance standard of Grade 6 is required. Students must demonstrate this and have a secure grasp of staff notation ( treble and bass) and general music theory. It would be beneficial to have some experience of composition and be willing to study a wide range of genres and eras of music.

APS 5.5 with a track record in performance and theory. Including GCSE grade 6 in music
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
