A Level Music combines live performance with composition, music theory and the analytical appraisal of classical and other music, helping you to develop as a performer, composer and someone interested in the history and theory of music.Studies in composition will enable you to develop a portfolio of pieces and a score displaying your knowledge of melody, harmony, instrumentation and structure. Live performances over the five terms will culminate in a final solo concert.
