Music is a universal language, developed from simple beginnings to a sophisticated and diverse art form. The Music A level course will enable you to develop a broader knowledge of different styles.

What you need to get on

GCSE Grade B or above in Music and Grade 5 on an instrument or voice. In some instances an audition may be required to assess performance and composition skills. Grade 5 Theory would be an advantage.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
