Music is constantly evolving, inspiring creativity and expression in a way that no other subject can. This A Level specification offers students the chance to study a wide range of musical genres and values all musical styles, skills and instruments and allows for more freedom of study dependant on the learners needs and interests.

What you need to get on

CAPS 5 and either a grade 6 in Music GCSE or Passed ABRSM grade 5 Theory examination. It is recommended that you are (or equivalent to) ABRSM grade 5 standard on your performance instrument/voice.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
