What the college says
The course offers a variety of alternatives which enable students to submit work demonstrating their strengths in the subject. There are three units of study for each year. External assessments take place in June. Assessment: Over the two year course students cover Listening, Composing and Performing in six units, three in year 12 and three in year 13.
What you need to get on
Level 3 Academic Route Entry Requirements: Minimum of five Grade 5s or above in separate subjects. A minimum of a Grade 5 in English or Maths and at least a Grade 4 in the other. Each subject will also have their own entry criteria which have to be adhered to.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
