Perform, compose and appraise music. Students will write two compositions over the course. One will be a free composition and must last for a minimum of 4 minutes in duration. The second composition will be written in response to a brief set by the exam board and must be a minimum of 1 minute in duration unless otherwise stated by the brief. Total time across both submissions must be a minimum of 6 minutes.
