If you love music and you are interested in a music career and want to develop your technical skills in music production, this is the course for you. You'll get plenty of time to learn about the key jobs available in the music industry. You will gain experience in recording, live sound, performing, song writing and music journalism. You'll also?have the?opportunity to be involved in various gigs and have the chance to visit recording studios and meet industry professionals who will be able to guide you in your future career. This?two-year programme will prepare you well for a career as a music performer, songwriter or recording and live sound engineer.
What you need to get on
At least five grade 6 to 9 Level 2 qualifications, of which all must be GCSE subjects, including both English and Mathematics at least Grade 5. Applicants need to achieve a Grade 6 or higher in a subject they are applying to study A-Levels if they have completed the subject at GCSE.
