What the college says
This course uses the three strands of performing, composing, and listening to introduce you to a variety of musical genres, styles and techniques. The specification is currently in draft form, awaiting verification for teaching from September 2016. Music A Level is accepted at all universities. Whilst you might not envisage a career in music for yourself in the future, this is a subject which universities know demands high levels of self-discipline, team work, creativity, commitment and dedication.
