What the college says
The study programme is mainly practical based and you will learn in our modern engineering workshop. You will develop your practical skills and interact with local employers, who will share their knowledge and experience with you. You will also attend various exhibitions, such as the Duxford Engineering Technology Skills Exhibition. The study programme will also develop your personal, social and employability skills, which includes opportunities to work on community projects and to explore the various career pathways within the engineering industry.
What you need to get on
Two GCSEs at Grade 1 including maths and/or English, or demonstrate the ability to work towards Level 1 in maths and English in an assessment.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
What this level means
A first step that builds towards Level 2.
