The NCFE Level 1 Mental Health Awareness course is an ideal short course for anyone who would like to start to develop their knowledge and understanding of the ideas related to mental health and some of the causes of mental health difficulties. The objectives of this qualification are to: � raise awareness of the issues surrounding mental health � dispel some of the myths and misconceptions frequently linked to mental health issues � develop learners� knowledge of the rights of those with mental health issues.Please note: If you are unemployed/in receipt of eligible benefits or in receipt of a low wage (less than �26,800 annual gross salary) you should be eligible to take this course for free.
