What the college says
It is traditionally seen as a supplementary subject to the sciences, particularly Physics and Chemistry. Over recent years this image has changed. It is still of considerable use to the traditional science subject, but it also benefits students who are studying a number of other subjects not least Psychology, Geology, Economics, Business Studies, Geography and Biology
