This course is suitable for students wanting to study Maths at university, and those wanting to study various Science/ Engineering degrees at more prestigious universities. It is also for those that just love Maths. Some ex-students have obtained apprenticeships after leaving school based on their Further Maths A Level. Further Maths does not always mean harder Maths. Because it counts as two A Levels, students will generally do a broader range of topics. Students will cover topics including Complex Numbers, Matrices, Differential equations and Polar Coordinates as well as studying Mechanics and Statistics in more detail.
