Mathematics A Level
at Sexey'S School, Bruton · school or sixth form
What the college says
Any student wishing to read for a degree in any Maths-related subject at university should take Mathematics in the Sixth Form. Maths should not however be seen as purely a tool for other subjects; many students enjoy studying it for its own sake and it can complement Arts and Humanities as well as being taken alongside the Sciences. Recent studies have also shown that graduate employees with A Level Mathematics earn more on average than those without it. It is expected that students studying Mathematics and Further Mathematics will purchase a Casio ClassWiz calculator before starting the course and will also purchase the required textbooks.
