What the college says
This course is for Students with an interest in analysis, numbers, critical thinking and logic. Students will be studying Core Mathematics topics include algebra, differentiation, integration and circle geometry. The mechanics module topics include forces, acceleration, power, momentum and vectors. The statistics module topics include analysis and presentation of data along with study in greater depth of probability. What you need to get on
A minimum of five GCSE’s at level 6 from five separate subjects including a 6 in mathematics and another related subject. Students will also need to have an average of 5.5 points or more from their GCSEs.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
