Accelerate your career in the automotive service industry with this technician course. This one year Level 3 qualification covers the technical needs of today�s motor vehicle repair industry, working on all types of light vehicles. It�s ideal for school leavers or adults looking to become a vehicle technician or MOT tester. Covering all light vehicle technologies at an advanced level, you will carry out practical diagnostic fault-finding tasks. You will become fully qualified to work at the likes of Jaguar Land Rover, Nissan, Toyota and all the major brands that deal with servicing, maintaining and rectifying warranty work at main dealerships.

What you need to get on

As this is a more advanced course you will have already demonstrated good skills and knowledge of the modern motor vehicle systems. With this, you would need to hold a Level 2 City and Guilds Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent (i.e. IMI). Must have at least 3 GCSE's at grade 4 and above in English and Maths as well as a technology discipline GCSE.
