This course is designed to hone and improve the skills required for the Public Services. These include leadership and teamwork, physical fitness, outdoor and adventure expeditions, crime and its effects on society, command and control in the uniformed Public Services, planning and management of major incidents, custodial care services and land/water-based navigation.

What you need to get on

Minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above (if this does not include English and maths these MUST be studied as part of the Level 3 programme) or Level 2 Functional Skills equivalent in English and maths; successful interview and initial assessment; successful completion of Level 2 programme (progressing learners).

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
