This is a two year course aimed at people who are interested in this vocational area. Students must pass all units to achieve the BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Travel and Tourism. The units cover a wide range of tourist and travel agents operational activities. After successful completion of this course students can progress on to the Level 3 National Diploma in Travel and Tourism and study Level 2 Cabin Crew. The method of learning is a mixture of both tutor led and practical sessions. Tutors expect full participation in learning activities. What will I study? The units you will study are likely to include: Core Units: European Travel Market Retail Travel Acency Operations Investigating Travel and Tourism The Business of Travel and Tourism UK Destinations Customer Service Preparing for Employment You will also study additional qualifications: Level 2 NCFE Certificate for Resort Representative Level 2 NCFE Certificate for Aviation Operations on the Ground

What you need to get on

Four GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above or Level 2 in Travel, or another appropriate BTEC Level 2 including English and Maths at Functional Skills Level 1 or GCSE grade 3/D.
