This one-year course is designed for students who are passionate about the visual arts and media, and who may not yet have achieved a grade 4 (C) or higher in GCSE English and/or maths. It offers an inspiring and inclusive learning environment where you can grow both creatively and academically, with tailored support to help you build confidence, technical skills, and a personal creative identity. You?ll choose one of two specialist pathways: ? Art & Design ? covering fine art, illustration, graphic design, and 3D design ? Creative Media ? focusing on film, photography, sound, and digital graphics Through hands-on projects, workshops, and industry-focused briefs, you?ll develop your creative thinking, technical ability, and visual communication skills. You?ll also build a portfolio that reflects your chosen pathway and interests ? ready for progression to further study or a career in the creative industries.

What you need to get on

4 GCSES (grade 3/D or above) including English & Maths. Level 2 Diploma in a relevant creative subject (e.g. Art & Design or Creative Media). Creative portfolio.
