You can acquire all the essential skills and knowledge you need for a career in operating performance technology thanks to this learning opportunity.This course is all about becoming embedded with performing communities and helping to ensure that the show always goes on.You will gain an eye for lighting design, learn about the dynamics of sound on stage and understand how to resolve logistical problems.You will also learn how to operate and set up equipment, manage technical rehearsals and design and make animated props.

What you need to get on

Five GCSEs at grade 4 and above with a minimum average GCSE score of 4.0, including:*English Language*MathsIdeally you must have practical experience on a lighting and sound desk and have worked on live shows.We welcome students who have successfully completed our Performing and Production Arts Industry Skills Level 2 Diploma. You must have achieved a Merit or Distinction at Level 2.
