This is a two year programme. In the first year you will complete the National Foundation Diploma and gain the Fitness Instructor qualification. In the second year you will complete the Extended Diploma alongside the qualification for Personal Trainer. This qualification has been developed in consultation with employers and professional bodies. This ensures that it is appropriate and consistent with current industry practice to enable learners to enter direct employment in the health and fitness sector. It also allows for progression to higher level study. The qualification provides the knowledge and develops the skills and application required for professional accreditation with the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) and the Chartered Institute of Management for Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) Gym Instructor standards .

What you need to get on

A minimum of 4 GCSEs grade 9 - 4 including maths and English or a full Level 2 with a merit profile and grades 9 - 4 in English & maths.
