What the college says

The diploma will prepare you for a career as a nail technician, and all the units relate directly to the role of a nail technician. it includes: providing manicures and pedicures, applying and maintaining nail enhancements, maintaining personal health and well being, health and safety and client care. There are a range of optional units including applying nail art, air brush designs, enhancing nails with electric files, promoting products and displaying stock. You will develop your knowledge and understanding of anatomy and physiology, health and safety, client care and nail products and equipment. Completion of the course can lead to: working in a commercial nail salon, working in a retail concession, working independent/self-employed/mobile/home-based.

Learners will have to complete a basic initial assessment in English and maths to demonstrate principle understanding which is required for the course.
