You will study the theoretical aspects of performance analysis, sports coaching and the fitness industry, whilst completing an athletic training programme, including coaching and competition, with Burton Albion Football Club.
What you need to get on
Minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above (if this does not include English and maths these MUST be studied as part of the Level 3 programme) or Level 2 Functional Skills equivalent in English and maths; successful interview and initial assessment; successful completion of Level 2 programme (progressing learners). Applicants also need to play football to a high standard, and suitability for the programme will be determined by Burton Albion Football Club.
