The travel & tourism industry is a dynamic and fast growing sector accounting for over 3.5 million jobs in the United Kingdom. Our NCFE qualifications will provide you with key skills and knowledge to gain employment in this fast-growing industry. Located near Windsor, we have the benefit of a leading cultural heritage on our doorstep, alongside Legoland Windsor Resort and two major airports. The course gives you the skills and knowledge to work in airports, airlines, tour operators, travel agencies, hotels or other accommodation, tourist information centres, tourist attractions, cruise line companies, holiday centres, conference or events organisations. We have great links with employers such as Castle Hotel Windsor and Heathrow Airport, with whom we work to provide routes into employment. You will be taught by a team of lecturers with a high level of commercial knowledge and subject experience. Students will also have the opportunity to visit employers such as Heathrow Airport and Windsor Castle. Trips are an important part of the course. Previously students have been to Winter Wonderland, Thorpe Park and Central London. For the most dedicated students there are opportunities for a two-week internship in countries such as Majorca, Spain or Portugal. Our travel course has been endorsed by Cove UK Holidays . Learners will have an opportunity to visit Seal Bay Resort in Selsey . Students will be completing an assignment whilst experiencing a four-night stay at the resort.

What you need to get on

Five GCSE to grade 4 or above including Maths and English or a merit in L2 qualification with Maths and English grade 4 equivalent.
