The course will develop individuals’ knowledge and skills across a range of disciplines which develop an in-depth understanding of how optimum sporting performance can be achieved. This is designed for individuals who are keen to develop their own sporting performance or those who want to pursue a career developing elite athletes.

What you need to get on

Four GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English, maths (Level 3 or above) and preferably PE and science. A Level 2 Diploma in Sport at Merit/Distinction grade (or equivalent) and GCSE English and maths at grade 4 or above will also be considered.

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
