If you are aged 16-18 and have an interest in sports performance, sports leadership or fitness, BTEC Level 3 may be for you. This two-year course will equip you with the knowledge and skills required to progress onto Higher Education or for a potential career in sports and recreation industries.
What you need to get on
To get on this course you are required to have 4 GCSEs at grades 9-4 (A*-C), including English and/or Maths and preferably P.E. Applicants with a BTEC L2 Certificate in Sport require a Pass grade, with English and maths GCSEs at a minimum grade 3.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
