The Level 3 Diploma in Electrical installations is the industry recognised route to continuing on your journey to becoming a fully qualified electrician making you eligible to work in the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors. The Level 3 Course is the natural progression for anyone who has completed the Level 2 Diploma 2365 course or related level 2 courses. On completion of this course you will then be able to undertake the Level 3 NVQ thus becoming recognised as a fully qualified electrical engineer within the industry. This course has been designed to help build on your understanding and knowledge gained from the level 2 course. This programme of study covers all of the necessary elements to further develop your skills and theoretical knowledge and understanding of advanced electrical science, inspection and testing, fault finding and rectification and electrical design. The award consists of the following elements of study: Understand the fundamental principles and requirements of environmental technology systems Principles of Electrical Science Electrical Installations: Fault Diagnosis and Rectification Electrical Installations : Inspection, Testing and Commissioning Electrical Systems design Career awareness in building services engineering Health and safety in Building Services Engineering On completion of this course you will have gained the necessary knowledge and skills to become confident in your ability to: Work within the industry in a safe and environment
